Research Support Service

Presentation
The main purpose of the CRAN Research Support Service (SAR) is to provide specific technical expertise for research projects.

This service supports the laboratory's researchers and professors in producing experimental platforms, demonstrators, prototypes, or research software, by providing technical guidance throughout their entire life cycle: needs analysis, design, equipment acquisition, development, and experimentation.

The permanent staff members of the service, engineers and technicians, operate within two major themes:

  • Digital Sciences
  • Life Sciences

In addition to this expertise, SAR members are also heavily involved in risk prevention, particularly related to experimental activities, the internal dissemination of "best professional practices," and in scientific outreach and mediation activities.

Laboratory members can contact the SAR at cran-sar@univ-lorraine.fr to describe their support needs, which we can then refine together. If you are preparing a project that will require support, do not hesitate to involve us as early as possible.

Furthermore, the current skills and activities of the service can be consulted on the laboratory intranet by clicking on this link.
