DESCRIPTION:Speaker: Amélie Aussel (INRIA Bordeaux) \nTitle: Computational
  modelling of neurostimulation\nAbstract:\nNeurostimulation techniques\, w
 hich apply an electric or magnetic field to the brain whether invasively (
 like DBS) or non-invasively (like tACS or TI)\, constitute promising thera
 peutic strategies to restore physiological brain activity and functions al
 tered by neurological disorders. However\, experimental and clinical studi
 es on neurostimulation have yielded conflicting results\, which highlights
  a lack of fundamental understanding of its underlying mechanisms.\nIn a n
 ew joint research team between Inria and the Institute of Neurodegenerativ
 e Diseases (IMN) in Bordeaux\, led by Dr. Fabien Wagner and myself\, we ai
 m to combine computational modeling and experimental approaches to evaluat
 e the effect of neurostimulation on neural activity and determine optimal 
 stimulation protocols\, with a particular focus on establishing the feasab
 ility of employing such techniques in memory-related disorders.\nIn this p
 resentation\, I will present the multiple projects ongoing in the team as
